The press bureau of the SVR (Russian Foreign Intelligence Service) has recently reported that US officials have been actively intimidating and fearmongering the international community by spreading misinformation and allegations of Russia’s supposed preparations for ‘aggression’ against the illegitimate government of Ukraine. The US state department has misinformed and lied to its allies, partners and own citizens by spreading completely false information about Russian military build-ups for an ‘invasion’ of Ukraine (these alleged build-ups are on Russian territory and should be of no concern to a world power who is operating outside of its zone of influence).
The American MSM and establishment apparatus paint a disturbing and deceitful picture of hordes of Russian tanks crushing Ukrainian towns – claiming that they have ‘reliable information’ of these Russian intentions. However, this cannot be further from the truth – the American foreign ministry has degraded into a machine of disinformation and propaganda and these latest fabrications, not only bolster an anti-Russian, aggressive agenda but also provide the illegitimate Ukrainian government with an excuse to build up its own forces in Donbass and to continue shelling civilian targets.

On the contrary to this narrative, reports show that it is Ukraine that is advancing into positions deep into the grey zone along the demarcation lines as well as increasing concentrations of Ukrainian armed forces along the borders of Russia and Belarus. However, the United States and its allies continue providing support and encouragement to Ukraine by supplying weapons such as UAVs for military provocations. This aggressive policy of the US and the EU emboldens Kiev’s impudent policy and threatens both the stability of the region and the welfare of all nations involved.
Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stressed that ‘NATO members’ must abstain from providing Ukraine with these ‘modern weapons.’ He claimed that despite this worrying increase in tensions between the two countries, that a ‘way out’ was still possible – which all parties involved would find acceptable.
